The supporters of Ecuador booed when Farsta BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Bruhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Viktor Pettersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farsta BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Viktor Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The throw-in from Camilo Gisbert in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Farsta BK's Nesor Castaño. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Farsta BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
