The tension between the Ruka and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacobo Tomi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Jacobo Tomi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Barros in the 11th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Gallo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Gallo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Czciborek having to interfere. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Ruka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Lauren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Chicote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Barros came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Czciborek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Robert Czciborek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Robert Czciborek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 51st minute of play. When Bruno Prejun fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruka's protests and gave Bruno Prejun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Ruka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Prejun to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Ruka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Sesuldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Eduardo Fontirroig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Czciborek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ruka's Higinio Gutierrez got a free kick in the 79th minute. Alberto Xabier hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Julio Chicote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Robert Czciborek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Tomi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Bolivia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
