When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 11th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionică Corcoveanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yin Li Ying in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Milagros Fraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Costin Teodoreanu hit a great ball. Ionică Corcoveanu was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 65th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Ionică Corcoveanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Codrin Izbașa replaced Filip Pantiș. Mihăiţă Jder made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ionică Corcoveanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eintracht Cernavoda! Eintracht Cernavoda:s Ionică Corcoveanu showed great skill when he stopped Luz Tejedor:s penalty. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Isak in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionică Corcoveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ionică Corcoveanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ionică Corcoveanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Gallo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 94 minute of play. If Antonio Tenorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
