Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) General Orginal's Iwo Zaworski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Deckberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Deckberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Iwo Zaworski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, General Orginal's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Robin Deckberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Zaworski in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Greger Dahlqvist put in a rough tackle. In the 27th minute, one of General Orginal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for General Orginal. If Hjalmar Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Deckberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Groth. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robin Deckberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. General Orginal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Robin Deckberg made a huge save. 60 minutes into the game, General Orginal's Börge Palmquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Robin Deckberg made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in General Orginal's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Deckberg came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, General Orginal's Osvald Kinnman got a free kick in the 68th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Robin Deckberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, General Orginal's Gunnar Ahlquist got a free kick in the 75th minute. Robin Deckberg was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If Hjalmar Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börge Palmquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Deckberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, General Orginal's goalkeeper Robin Deckberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The corner went over the outstretched arms of General Orginal's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. General Orginal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
