Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fermin Dolfo started the match with the kick off. Faustino Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Fermin Dolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Yalapa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olaf Gall in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on Yalapa's corner Olaf Gall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. If Fermin Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the Yalapa defense, Santino Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basri İhtiyar. The Yalapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basri İhtiyar should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Fermin Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basri İhtiyar was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Fermin Dolfo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fermin Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Juan Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Basri İhtiyar threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64thth minute of the game Fermin Dolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. Yalapa's Samuel Tome was substituted for Faustino Dimo. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Leonardo Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Samuel Tome scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basri İhtiyar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Basri İhtiyar made a huge save. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Tome in the 92nd minute of play. Yalapa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
