Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 2nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Basso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. Herbert Holmgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of the match. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Basso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gelu Plopșor kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Gelu Plopșor got a free kick in the 67th minute. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Joacim Nordin fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Shadows's protests and gave Joacim Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 80th minute, one of The Shadows:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Shadows. Marcos Basso had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Eliseo Mina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eliseo Mina took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 87th minute. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Basso could save by the left post. Marcos Basso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 96th minute.
