All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boleslaw Golec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. WaHa TeaM's Boleslaw Golec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 75th minute of play. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when WaHa TeaM's Wal Gola fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boleslaw Golec. The goal made the score 2-1. Camilo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Golec having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Wal Gola made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Roman Skorny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Skorny in the 96th minute of the match. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
