Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FMArgentina's Eloy Alvarez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ismael Bernad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ismael Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FMArgentina getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Paolo Herensuge hit a great ball. Ismael Bernad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FMArgentina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Bernad despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Alvarez in the 24th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ismael Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Belarmo in the 28th minute of play. Ismael Bernad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FMArgentina's Ismael Bernad managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Ismael Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FMArgentina's Cipriano Belarmo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Bernad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cipriano Belarmo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Belarmo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Eloy Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FMArgentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

54 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ismael Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Cipriano Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Belarmo in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Belarmo in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Ismael Bernad however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Bernad. Ismael Bernad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Santos Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Alvarez came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
