The supporters of Uruguay booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Jaime Cazalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Alvarez in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Alvarez went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 68 minutes of play, FMArgentina's Eloy Alvarez made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ismael Bernad made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Ismael Bernad in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Eloy Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FMArgentina had won after a very even match.
