Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Callaghan in the 13th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Huff in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Biddle Beer came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Callaghan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Marcus Huff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Callaghan in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Angelo Callaghan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Callaghan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Huff in the 36th minute of play. Thoona's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Biddle Beer in the 37th minute. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petre Dimofte. Petre Dimofte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Marcus Huff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. If Marcus Huff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Callaghan went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Marcus Huff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Petre Dimofte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Angelo Callaghan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Marcus Huff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Callaghan in the 92nd minute of play. Chuck Pack got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcus Jackson. After 97 played minutes, Thoona's Biddle Beer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thoona reached it. When the referee ended the match the Thoona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
