Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bruninho Pitta hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto. Severino Hulberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivermania FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Rivermania FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Hulberto. Severino Hulberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Flor. After having played for 38 minutes, Erasmo Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivermania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Lorencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jacobo Santxol sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Victor Bazkoare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Rivermania FC's Erasmo Lorencio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Lorencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruninho Pitta hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Santxol in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Santxol in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After 75 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rosendo Flor sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 叶翀文 struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivermania FC. After 83 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ana Tatangelo in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ana Tatangelo in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rivermania FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
