Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) U21 Totoras F.C.'s Epifanio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alo Hurt in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 18 minutes into the match, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Benito Pacorro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernando Polo who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd minute of the match U21 Totoras F.C. got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Polo ran over to the corner to take the kick. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Presebal Ubiña was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Pacorro's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Benito Pacorro made a great header on U21 Totoras F.C.'s corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Epifanio Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Totoras F.C.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Valery came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Epifanio Valery quite easily take care of the ball. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Alo Hurt managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Totoras F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alo Hurt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Valery having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alo Hurt came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alo Hurt in the 55th minute of the match. U21 Totoras F.C. were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Polo took the corner. The corner ended in Fernando Polo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Benito Pacorro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Pacorro in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Epifanio Valery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Alejandro Ermengol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Alfréd Marton was substituted for Alo Hurt. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Epifanio Valery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Pacorro in the 86th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfréd Marton in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute U21 Totoras F.C. were awarded a corner. Fernando Polo went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of U21 Totoras F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Fernando Polo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st match minute, U21 Totoras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Presebal Ubiña to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Valery made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, U21 Totoras F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
