Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sabino Vilhena started the match with the kick off. Durval Meira lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 3 minutes into the game, one of Matos Velhos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Colombia a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Montenegro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi. 0-1. When Kevin Mastache fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Kevin Mastache a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Matos Velhos booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sabino Vilhena. Sabino Vilhena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sabino Vilhena kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Sabino Vilhena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares skillfully saved the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Qing Lin to maneuver through the defense. Vito de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Sabino Vilhena sent off a good shot on target. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Carballar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Sabino Vilhena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. Vito de Godoi came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Abram Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Silvino during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Generoso Silvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Vilhena in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Generoso Silvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matos Velhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Silvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Qing Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Abram Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Vito de Godoi made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Qing Lin came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Qing Lin in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match, Axel Montenegro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vito de Godoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sabino Vilhena scored 1-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Lee Beckford replaced Karl Nietlisbach. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Matos Velhos's Henrique Candal was substituted for Sabino Vilhena. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Matos Velhos from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vito de Godoi. Ignacio Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Candal in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi got control of the ball when Pascual Carballar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Henrique Candal made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The supporters of Colombia booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Mastache was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 95th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Ignacio Mastache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vito de Godoi quite easily take care of the ball.
