Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Generoso Silvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Durval Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabino Vilhena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Vito de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 24th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Júlio Gentil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Júlio Gentil scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Pliego, making the score, 2-0. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Sabino Vilhena sent off a good shot on target. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Gentil made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Vilhena to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Matos Velhos getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Júlio Gentil hit a great ball. With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito de Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito de Godoi was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Vito de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Matos Velhos's Karl Nietlisbach was substituted for Sabino Vilhena. Matos Velhos's Özdemir Saygur was substituted for Generoso Silvino. In the 71st minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vito de Godoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Jiang Qing Lin got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Karl Nietlisbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Durval Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vito de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gentil in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Júlio Gentil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Júlio Gentil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karl Nietlisbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matos Velhos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
