Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruguay! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Arraz during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Thomas Izaguirre in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Oblak having to interfere. Jan Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 21st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Jaime Cazalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan Oblak quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to UNITED getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Samuel Arraz hit a great ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Eder Saavedra took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th match minute, UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Károly Kolompár to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jan Oblak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Oblak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cresitobalo Cortes came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cresitobalo Cortes couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jan Oblak made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Cresitobalo Cortes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Uruguay booed when UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eder Saavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jan Oblak made a huge save. Jan Oblak made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to UNITED getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Graciano Teruel hit a great ball. If Cresitobalo Cortes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UNITED's Jan Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save UNITED from getting a goal against them. When Graciano Teruel fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UNITED's protests and gave Graciano Teruel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UNITED's Graciano Teruel got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jan Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, UNITED could leave the field as winners, despite Uruguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
