Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute. Erik Hertzog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, 1. FC Union Weberei's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Heiner Studer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heiner Studer came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimir Wickihalter. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Lindo Kran got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Erik Hertzog made the kick off in the second half. Heiner Studer made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Heiner Studer however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heiner Studer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Heiner Studer was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 59th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Heiner Studer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Heiner Studer could save by the left post. 72 minutes into the game, Casimir Wickihalter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play forced 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Owain Wollenmann got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heiner Studer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Union Weberei from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 1. FC Union Weberei throughout the match.
