After 9 played minutes Atlético Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Loureiro. Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 10th minute of play. Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-11 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Patrick Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rdth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-20 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrick Teles came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-21 in the 95th minute. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
