The referee ignored GoldDiam V55's protests and gave Robert Macovei a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Macovei hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through GoldDiam V55's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cheng De Jing. Robert Macovei made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Radu Pacurar however managed to control. GoldDiam V55's Cheng De Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save GoldDiam V55 from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eliodor Barbosu sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Eliodor Barbosu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliodor Barbosu ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Eliodor Barbosu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 55th minute of the game.
