If Malin Karolev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Jan Figlewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malin Karolev was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the USA defense, Chiquinho Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 56th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Jan Figlewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abutres 2003 FDP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. 63 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Paraense came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 庄辉雄, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Abutres 2003 FDP's Jan Figlewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 66th minute of play. USA made a substitution. Abutres 2003 FDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Monty Rogers ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Sam Campbell managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Hinojosa in the 71st minute of play. Malin Karolev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. In the 82nd minute 庄辉雄 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquinho Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Chiquinho Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Campbell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Jan Figlewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sam Campbell took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Figlewski. Jan Figlewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Abutres 2003 FDP support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
