USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Edward Mcdonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Pinches was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 唐沙旭 in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 唐沙旭 in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rdth minute of the game 唐沙旭 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 唐沙旭 got free with Marco Day in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Jose-Antonio Capon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Antonio Capon in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Vollmar in the 32nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Diablos Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo to maneuver through the defense.

52 minutes into the game, Jacob May was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablos Rojos the free kick. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob May didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Remus Pinches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diablos Rojos's Remus Pinches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Vollmar in the 61st minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Jose-Antonio Capon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monty Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. 70 minutes into the game, Thomás Vollmar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerome Boateng hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Remus Pinches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diablos Rojos. In the 89th minute Thomás Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Pinches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the USA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
