Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Pär Are made a huge save. Pär Are was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. Ciro Di Renzo's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montechiarugolo AFC fully deserved thier win.
