Stanislaw Iwanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandro Riells in the 9th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês Leite made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. 17 minutes into the match, KP Opel Kamień's Alexandro Riells sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stanislaw Iwanowski came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Ross kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Ross. 31 minutes into the game, Juarês Leite threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as KP Opel Kamień's Julian Ross slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. Julian Rosss short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Julian Ross sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, KP Opel Kamień's Alexandro Riells got a free kick in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jaime Cazalla hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Ross in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Ross in the 60th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 61st minute. Kevin Carballal charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Carballal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KP Opel Kamień:s goal. When Camilo Franco came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Franco couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanislaw Iwanowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but KP Opel Kamień were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
