Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Basten in the 28th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 89th minute Durval de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. David Puyol made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jovens Democratas MZC had played much better football throughout.
