In the 13th match minute, Lidingö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Runberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiger De Hond in the 27th minute of play forced Lidingö's goalkeeper Jan Dalgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Dalgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jan Dalgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Erland in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lidingö's zone, Tiger De Hond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Dalgren came out of the goal and Tiger De Hond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidiu Adrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Gallberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Primeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Çağdaş Yuvakuran hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Gallberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Gelu Cornoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Adrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Gallberg in the 57th minute of play. Lidingö's Gelu Cornoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62ndth minute of the game Mauro Primeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidingö's Jan Dalgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lidingö's goalie prevented a goal. Ulf Johansson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Lidingö's Jan Dalgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Primeiro in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Çağdaş Yuvakuran put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Dalgren. Henning Runberg kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Lidingö got a freekick which was hit by Henning Runberg. 79 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Johansson came free, but Ovidiu Adrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Lidingö's goal looked a bit too open when Çağdaş Yuvakuran came free, but Jan Dalgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Çağdaş Yuvakuran notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Lidingö's Jan Dalgren. Jan Dalgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Poli Timisoara's Tiger De Hond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Dalgren. Jan Dalgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Poli Timisoara left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lidingö.
