An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Paulista in the 38th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Paulista to make the kick off. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Rafa Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. After 93 minutes, Luca Espinar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the ✪ XV de Umarizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ✪ XV de Umarizal throughout the match.
