Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thiago Pliego didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Estrela Solitária's Naldo Rossi. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamim Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Naldo Rossi made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Felix Garrido. 15 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Meira came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Hermes lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Estrela Solitária fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! 1-1 came in the 20th minute when Mariano Lacasa all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Benjamim Dante. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 26th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. 35 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamim Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 40th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Estrela Solitária players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Dudu Meira made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim Dante made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Estrela Solitária's Gerd Müller got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante. Benjamim Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Naldo Rossi got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Meira in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Estrela Solitária was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Benjamim Dante made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Benjamim Dante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Carballar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benjamim Dante quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 92nd match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
