Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Esteban Carvallo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Venerando in the 23rd minute of play. Jeremias Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lili Oddang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Severo Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Melquiades Ofelio in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Jeremias Venerando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Ereinotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Severo Ereinotz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute, Jeremias Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Tomas Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeremias Venerando was slow to take the kick. During this time EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's players had a chance to rest. Lili Oddang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Severo Ereinotz made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Venerando in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Ereinotz saved EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. Jeremias Venerando shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 87thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Severo Ereinotz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Severo Ereinotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jeremias Venerando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 95 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Ereinotz. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
