After a defensive mix-up in MDS Soccer Club's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zheng Di Xi came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zheng Di Xi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Zheng Di Xi came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zheng Di Xi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Gmoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice moves Lukasz Gmoch could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zheng Di Xi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Lukasz Gmoch tried to sneak it across the goal line.
52 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zheng Di Xi, 0-5. Erivaldo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Erivaldo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDS Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erivaldo Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Zheng Di Xi made a huge save. With a little luck, MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukasz Gmoch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Gmoch to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes, Armandinho Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MDS Soccer Club and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes, MDS Soccer Club's Milosz Solecki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MDS Soccer Club reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caio Cearense during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to MDS Soccer Club getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Caio Cearense hit a great ball. Ecuador played a much better game than MDS Soccer Club and deserved their victory. The MDS Soccer Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
