A nice corner shot did that Hıncal Hatırlı got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hıncal Hatırlı in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Hıncal Hatırlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Hıncal Hatırlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hıncal Hatırlı's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Ensar Özakıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hıncal Hatırlı in the 53rd minute of play. Illés Albert hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute of play forced Bayburtspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Eriş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Hıncal Hatırlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mehmet Ali Eriş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Mehmet Ali Eriş in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hıncal Hatırlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Ali Hamza Yüksel in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Hıncal Hatırlı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hıncal Hatırlı in the 84th minute of play. Bayburtspor's Xu Guang managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 86 minute of the game. Hıncal Hatırlı hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
