This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 18th minute Binjamin Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constancio Jaque in the 25th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Marciano Asmussen sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Tabalongo AFC were awarded a corner. Virgilio Marko went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zhang Hong Xun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Asmussen in the 41st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Asmussen in the 44th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhang Hong Xun having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Asmussen, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tabalongo AFC's Max Vinkens was substituted for Marciano Asmussen. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Max Vinkens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Frankowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Max Vinkens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constancio Jaque in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tabalongo AFC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgilio Marko took the corner. The corner ended in Virgilio Marko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Frankowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Vinkens in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Max Vinkens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tabalongo AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
