Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Amadeu Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Correa in the 10th minute of the match. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Amadeu Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Prado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute, Mateus Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Amadeu Prado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Amadeu Prado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredão Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Prado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zézinho Neto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-2 in the 32 minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Rogério Cean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rogério Cean hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Amadeu Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes, Sport Club Mavericks's Mateus Novaes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sport Club Mavericks reached it.

After having played for 51 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute of the game Ian Marinho made a throw-in which Rogério Cean played forward. José Carlos Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Mesquita during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Prado was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-3. Tomas Illescas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 78 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Amadeu Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Amadeu Prado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Marinho during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Jose Correa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sport Club Mavericks throughout the match.
