Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Kostas Kelaidonis sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kostas Kelaidonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 38th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Ke Hui, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Navigators made a substitution. Özbek Tokur replaced Güralp Okanay. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cai Shi Feng stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Shi Feng in the 52nd minute of play. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gaona got free with Yavuz Bülent Akbatu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Ke Hui came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Navigators's Kostas Kelaidonis. But to his dismay, Kostas Kelaidonis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Navigators's Bahri Rafiz was substituted for Kostas Kelaidonis. Cai Shi Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Navigators's Bahri Rafiz got a free kick in the 80th minute. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 92nd minute. Joel Gaona scored 3-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Bülent Akbatu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Navigators support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
