Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Argentina made a substitution. Sebastian Sagese replaced Pepe Ferrari. Argentina's Federico Falcone was substituted for Alba Arce. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kong Zhi Wei to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute Naldo Olleros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 崔轩洲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémie Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jérémie Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Boni having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jérémie Sarmiento got free with Florentino Boni in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Macario Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eléctricos F.C.'s Luca Lechințan was substituted for Cruz Guareña. 94 minutes into the match, Argentina's goalkeeper Florentino Boni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jérémie Sarmiento.
