Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Pardina's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Olimpiu Popan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Cambeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olimpiu Popan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olimpiu Popan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Popan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Pardina's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cambeiro came free, but Olimpiu Popan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Vintilă Mihuț sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olimpiu Popan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Olimpiu Popan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pardina's Olimpiu Popan. Olimpiu Popan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Pardina getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Robert Stoica hit a great ball. Olimpiu Popan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpiu Popan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Olimpiu Popan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Ion Pârâianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Vintilă Mihuț got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Mihuț stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pardina booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ion Pârâianu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpiu Popan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olimpiu Popan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Panama's Alex Cambeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. In the 82nd minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. When Miguel Miralles came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Miralles couldn't finish the play. In the 89th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Petrică Scutaru kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The long shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 93rd minute really tested Olimpiu Popan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Miguel Miralles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
