Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. A hard shot 4 in the game by Gabriel Corderro from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After 5 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Prospero Hug who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Prospero Hug got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erland Sagbakken having to make a save. Gabriel Corderro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 19th playminute. Prospero Hug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Prospero Hug took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabriel Corderro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Corderro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Gaudencio Chorche tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. If Prospero Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. When Danilo Austin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Saladillo FC's protests and gave Danilo Austin a yellow card for diving instead. Venezuela made a substitution. Roberto Ocampo replaced Joshua Secada. After 53 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Austin. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Atletico Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Hug took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Corderro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erland Sagbakken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Atletico Saladillo FC's Prospero Hug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 76th minute, Gabriel Corderro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 82 minutes into the game, Atletico Saladillo FC's Gabriel Corderro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Atletico Saladillo FC made a substitution. Hector Ferrer replaced Gabriel Corderro. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Chorche in the 87th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Saladillo FC's Hector Ferrer. But to his dismay, Hector Ferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 94th minute, Hector Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Atletico Saladillo FC were the better team. Atletico Saladillo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
