Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Cabeza, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Emiliano Cabeza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Cabeza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Emiliano Cabeza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Cabeza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kirima FC's Pedro Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Kirima FC's Emiliano Cabeza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Cabeza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Emiliano Cabeza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirima FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Cabeza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kirima FC's Emiliano Cabeza got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Kirima FC's Emiliano Cabeza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Chicote during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Cabeza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Cabeza in the 52nd minute of play. Kirima FC's Pedro Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Kirima FC from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Arias, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 59th minute of play forced Kirima FC's goalkeeper Pedro Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Kirima FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kirima FC's Pedro Arias got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Kirima FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Salvatore in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Cabeza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Patricio Costa took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Pedro Arias to make any attempt to save it. Emiliano Cabeza struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirima FC. Pedro Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Emiliano Cabeza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Cabeza struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirima FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kirima FC.
