In the 36th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörn Erserman to strike the kick off in the second half. Blomstermåla BK were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tim Nordstedt took the corner. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Lidström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Pär Skoglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 92nd minute, Lennart Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Blomstermåla BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
