After having played for 22 minutes, Ovidio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pista Uno F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Tristan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pista Uno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Tristans short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Pista Uno F.C.'s Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcelo Abastas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 36 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Ambrosio Arnau made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Evaristo Herrera however managed to control. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Abastas made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute of the match Koldobika Sendeño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After 56 minutes of play, Pista Uno F.C.'s Marcelo Abastas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Flavio Lizbeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Marcelo Abastas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Vladimiros Kasselas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Rinzema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Abastas in the 79th minute of play. Koldobika Sendeño took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ambrosio Arnau in the 85 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Tristan in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Pista Uno F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Tristan in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
