Ahmet Necdet Razi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 7th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Jakub Moder took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. Jakub Moder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Swansea City AFC's Nicolau Taveira. Swansea City AFC's Ahmet Necdet Razi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Jakub Moder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Moder, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Chile booed when Swansea City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolau Taveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakub Moder in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Moder in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Swansea City AFC made a substitution. Frans Lytnov replaced Anacleto Jaume. 57 minutes into the match, Swansea City AFC's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Razi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 63 minutes into the match, Chile's Pedro Indiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Necdet Razi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolau Taveira made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Thiago Pliego. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Necdet Razi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Swansea City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ahmet Necdet Razi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Chile's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chile may have spent more time on the ball, but Swansea City AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
