Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 5th minute, Emiliano Cabeza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kirima FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pedro Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Kirima FC's goalkeeper Pedro Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Cabeza in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Cornelio Salvatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Arias came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Salvatore in the 24th minute of play. Juan Bembe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Pedro Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Salvatore in the 34th minute of the match. Juan Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Bembe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Siro Cilio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Pedro Arias made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pedro Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita had several of the Kirima FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Pedro Arias as he didn't even see the shot coming. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Cabeza in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Pedro Arias made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cornelio Salvatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Salvatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Cabeza in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kirima FC's goalkeeper Pedro Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Cabeza in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
