Fenerbahçe were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after CLATHU's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aras Daman took the corner. The corner led Fenerbahçe's Aras Daman to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Peter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Quaresma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés Calamaro in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aras Daman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Daman in the 54th minute of the match. Hipolito Mel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded CLATHU left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fenerbahçe.
