The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 23rd minute Vicente Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Del Rojo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Bizi should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's Waldemar Gierlach made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Bizi was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Basarab Alexandru hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Champions Iasi's Fabian Zăreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Bizi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugeniusz Bartocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Waldemar Gierlach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Inocencio Bizi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, Fabian Zăreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Bizi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Inocencio Bizi made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fabian Zăreanu sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Champions Iasi's Inocencio Bizi threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waldemar Gierlach, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 72 minutes into the match, Fabian Zăreanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Inocencio Bizi, 0-8. In the 75th minute, Isac Muntian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 狄威战 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rouven Nussli having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Socorro in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rouven Nussli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Pedro Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Gierlach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Bizi having to make a save. In the 87th play minute Fabian Zăreanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Inocencio Bizi. 0-10. Fabian Zăreanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 90th playminute. In the 95th minute Waldemar Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Bizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Waldemar Gierlach fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Del Rojo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Muntian came free, but Inocencio Bizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Champions Iasi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Del Rojo FC throughout the match.
