Filomeno Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CDU Católica. Jânio Diniz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Orlín Amuscotegui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Gotzon having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóbal Lataste got free with Filomeno Gotzon in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Tauro Fontecilla took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Filomeno Gotzon to make any attempt to save it. Filomeno Gotzon made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Sergi Goyenechea sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, CDU Católica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernán Maas to maneuver through the defense. Salamón Del Fierro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Orlín Amuscotegui made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Gotzon. Del Rojo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Tauro Fontecilla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filomeno Gotzon came out and tried to block the shot, but Tauro Fontecilla slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 38th minute. Del Rojo FC's Filomeno Gotzon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Del Rojo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 45th match minute, Del Rojo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugeniusz Bartocha to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tauro Fontecilla made a kick off. 狄威战 scored 4-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salamón Del Fierro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of CDU Católica booed when Del Rojo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tauro Fontecilla came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the CDU Católica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tauro Fontecilla couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Gotzon came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by CDU Católica's Cristóbal Lataste. But to his dismay, Cristóbal Lataste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Leon Ostadar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salamón Del Fierro. CDU Católica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filomeno Gotzon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tauro Fontecilla went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlín Amuscotegui in the 74th minute of play forced Del Rojo FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Gotzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, CDU Católica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergi Goyenechea to maneuver through the defense. Salamón Del Fierro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Socorro in the 79th minute of the match. Salamón Del Fierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlín Amuscotegui in the 95th minute of play forced Del Rojo FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Gotzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CDU Católica walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
