The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedykt Kiszkiel should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 33rd minute of play forced MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Benedykt Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedykt Kiszkiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Basinski to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Basinski in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Benedykt Kiszkiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Benedykt Kiszkiel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Benedykt Kiszkiel in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes, Wincenty Zapolski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Wodzisław Śląski and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Wincenty Zapolski got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Felix Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benedykt Kiszkiel. That made the score 0-7 after 81 minutes of play. During the 94th minute of the match Wincenty Zapolski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wincenty Zapolski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Wincenty Zapolski kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MZ Wodzisław Śląski throughout the match.
