Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedykt Kiszkiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Benedykt Kiszkiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedykt Kiszkiel having to interfere. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. When Czeslaw Skaradoski fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Wodzisław Śląski's protests and gave Czeslaw Skaradoski a yellow card for diving instead. Czeslaw Skaradoski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Cazalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MZ Wodzisław Śląski the free kick. The supporters of MZ Wodzisław Śląski booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gaona got free with Benedykt Kiszkiel in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Benedykt Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Benedykt Kiszkiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Czeslaw Skaradoski kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benedykt Kiszkiel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 77th minute of play. Benedykt Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 79th minute of play. Czeslaw Skaradoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 85th minute of play forced MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goalkeeper Benedykt Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
