Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Carlos Alberto Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Alberto Soares succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Carlos Alberto Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fabiano Maranhense hit a great ball. Carlos Alberto Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Alberto Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Soares's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Alberto Soares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 26 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Pimenta went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Carlos Alberto Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th play minute Walmir Pombal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 6-0. The supporters of Catugi FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Alberto Soares to make the kick off. Carlos Alberto Soares scored 8-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Soares notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goalkeeper Reko Nybacka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 71st play minutes Carlos Alberto Soares shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Walmir Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Walmir Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Alberto Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Walmir Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Catugi FC's Walmir Pombal. But to his dismay, Walmir Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Benjamim Alvarenga got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Soares in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
