The supporters of DREAM TEAM WORLD booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bradley didn't get a good kick on the ball. When USA's Cassius Byrne, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for USA. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrzej Zapolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Zapolski's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Curcio in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monty Rogers.
