Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allen Dalton in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Amir Lee. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Rashad Richardson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascade Park West's supporters rose to their feet, but Rashad Richardson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Claude Joyner took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Amir Lee capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amir Lee really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 39th minute Claude Joyner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Joyner in the 54th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claude Joyner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Cascade Park West's Isidro Singleton was substituted for Rashad Richardson. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolland Hobbs went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cascade Park West had played much better football throughout.
