Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Eugeniusz Milko sent off a good shot on target. S.D NARCEA's Germán Figueres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manel Quintanilla in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Luca Espinar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germán Figueres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Milko came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germán Figueres having to interfere. The throw-in from Seve Coello in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Germán Figueres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, S.D NARCEA's Calisto Zaplana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Milko.

The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germán Figueres. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. 61 minutes into the match, S.D NARCEA's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Espinar came free, but Germán Figueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roldán Quijana during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes S.D NARCEA got a freekick which was hit by Roldán Quijana. 64 minutes into the match, S.D NARCEA's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Espinar came free, but Germán Figueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. S.D NARCEA's Pietro Macia was substituted for Paquito Rey. The supporters of S.D NARCEA booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, S.D NARCEA's Manel Quintanilla made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Macia, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germán Figueres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd match minute, S.D NARCEA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Zărnescu to maneuver through the defense. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when S.D NARCEA's Pietro Macia shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. S.D NARCEA were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
