After some careless play in the Mukifus FSCMZ defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Neiva. The Mukifus FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Neiva should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Axel Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Axel Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Axel Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gösta Lindell made a great header on Mukifus FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
